YouPick Terms of Use
Effective date: July 11, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and WeStay Technologies governing your use of the YouPick app.
1. The service
YouPick helps you decide what to eat, solo or with a group. Suggestions are generated with the help of automated systems and third-party data (restaurant listings, recipes) and are provided for convenience — always verify restaurant details, menus, and allergen information directly with the restaurant. YouPick's allergy filters are a convenience feature, not a safety guarantee. Never rely on the app as your sole protection against food allergens.
2. Accounts
You must sign in with Apple or Google to use account features. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old.
3. YouPick Premium (auto-renewing subscription)
Plans: YouPick Premium — $5.99 per month, or $29.99 per year. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if not cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Prices may change; you will be notified in advance per Apple's policies.
4. Group features and user content
WePick sessions let you share votes, challenges, and session activity with people in your group. You are responsible for content you contribute. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, obscene, or infringing, and not to use group features to abuse others. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report objectionable content or block users at support@youpickfood.app (or via in-app reporting where available); we may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, consistent with the App Store terms. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the service, including attempting to extract or abuse our API credentials or automated systems.
6. Third-party content
Restaurant data, recipes, and maps come from third parties (including Google and Spoonacular). We don't control and aren't responsible for their accuracy, and their availability may change.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeStay Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time in-app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, USA.
